A small area had been archaeologically surveyed for 10 years on the historically protected birth home of our first president so that the national park service could finally have air conditioning in the replica mansion. When neither horizontal trenching or vertical loops were a practical solution, On-Site Energy solved the matter by designing and installing the system using horizontal boring technology. Along with a team of personnel experienced in historical renovation, such as subcontractor Rich Abernathy of Air Cool and Heat, On-Site Energy installed five new units within the historically protected building.
